Your safety first: any skin lesion that is changing, bleeding, not healing or doesn’t look typical is assessed to rule out skin cancer before any cosmetic removal. Where a lesion is removed, it is sent for laboratory analysis (histology). We never remove a worrying lesion as a purely cosmetic procedure.
